Bojangles - Wilson

I stopped by for a quick breakfast and expected a fast and easy experience, but it turned out to be quite the opposite. Even though there were plenty of employees—around 10 or 12—I still had to wait. When I arrived, there were only two people ahead of me, which shouldn’t have been an issue for Bojangles. However, there seemed to be a large order that needed to be fulfilled, putting everyone on task. I don’t understand why it took them 10 minutes to take my order. With 3 or 4 people working the counter, I expected a quicker process. After placing my order, I waited another 10 minutes, which was frustrating because I didn’t anticipate a 20-minute wait at all. But once I placed my order, it felt like I was stuck. On the positive side, the biscuit was delicious, and they did give me two drinks. I think they really need to improve their efficiency.

The staff had great personalities and were very helpful with the ordering process. The place was clean and conveniently located near motels, which was perfect for us while traveling. They had a unique dessert I've never encountered before: a deep-fried sweet potato cake. Although I didn't try it, it looked delicious. The chicken was slightly spicy, which I really enjoyed.

I really enjoy the bread on the chicken! It's light yet still has a nice crispiness to it. The person at the counter is from Africa, and although it was a bit challenging to understand him at first, he was friendly and easy to talk to!

My wife says it wasn't my favorite... and she was sick for the next 36 hours (although we can be fair not 100% positive there was a direct connection). My 16-J daughter says it was the most delicious chicken ever... the cookies are also pretty good. But really you know what you get when you make this choice... you will not be surprised.

This was my first experience with Bojangles and it was not a great one. It was very busy both inside and the drive-thru and seemed like there were not enough people working. Then when I got closer to the line I overheard the cashier instructing one of the other employees to redrop some potatoes to warm them up! Needless to say I'm glad I wasn't ordering any sides. I simply wanted some tenders and a sweet tea. When I asked for this I felt like I was given the third degree because she said I had to pick a side or the snack pack. Keep in mind I've never been inside an ordered anything before so I don't think I was asking for anything on reasonable and I feel she lacks some patience. She did apologize for the wait and proceeded to explain that all of the other employees were mostly borrowed from other locations and she was the only original employee. I do not think I will be in a rush to go to another Bojangles anytime soon.
