Aomi Sushi Hibachi - Wilson

I ordered the hibachi steak, shrimp, and chicken, but I only received three shrimp. The server took a long time to bring my water, even though I paid $0.50 for their service.

The sushi is excellent, the clear soup is delightful, and the hibachi is fantastic. The spring rolls have a unique twist, but they are absolutely delicious.

The staff were courteous, the food was fresh and tasty, and the seating area was clean.

Ordered chicken hibachi and chicken and steak hibachi, spring rolls, fried goya and a California roll. The steak was fatty and the fried rice was just white rice with soy sauce added in it, no veggies and the yum yum sauce tastes like straight sugar. The spring rolls were doughy on the inside like they needed a few more minutes and the avocado was brown as if it was a pre-made roll and not fresh. The fried Goya was the only thing that was good. I have lived in different places and tried hibachi in each and they have all tasted the same ....like hibachi. This restaurant however is not it. I don't know how it has 4 stars. Must be a Wilson thing. I want be back.

The food is extremely bland. I don't know how you mess up chicken and rice, but they have somehow managed to do it. If you are allergic to a particular ingredient and ask them to remove it, they will charge you. That leads me to believe that they are not cooking any of this fresh, which might explain the horrible taste.
