Shorty's - Thermopolis

Great food! We used Shorty's to cater a birthday party for 50 people and EVERYONE raved about the food! The owner was extremely professional and bent over backwards to accomodate us. We highly recommend them for catering or a casual place to eat.

The food and service were fantastic, and the staff were wonderful. We've tried a lot of dishes there, and we definitely plan to return.

I went out for dinner with a group of friends last night. The food was excellent, and the customer service was outstanding!

This is a fun spot with a rich history, tracing back to the original founder, Shorty, who opened the place in 1962. Our server, Melissa, was fantastic, and being in Wyoming, we were able to purchase a couple of bottles of wine at a great price to bring home. On Friday nights, they fire up the grill on the patio to offer various specials—like steaks or burgers—changing weekly. Plus, they stay open until 10:00 PM, which is great since most places in Thermopolis close by 8:00 PM.

Shorty's has been a beloved local spot for many years. The friendly staff proudly claims to serve the coldest beer in the county, and I can confirm that they do! In addition to drinks, they offer a menu with various food options, and their Friday night specials feature steaks that are as big as a plate! While the interior can be a bit smoky, there's a wonderful outdoor patio that's perfect for enjoying the summer weather.
