Bidrage med feedbackVisited on a Saturday morning around 8:45am, doors were open and people were coming and going but none of the freshly baked buns (hot dog buns, bbq pork buns, etc., were ready to serve yet. Was told to come back around 9:30am, which I did, and a lovely lady helped me pick some buns fresh off the tray as they still weren't on display yet and I wasn't 100% sure what each one was. Totally worth the wait, buns are DELICIOUS and whole family was satisfied. Easily the best priced Chinese bakery I've found.
Great prices for the GTA in 2023, SeptemberMost stand alone buns are $1.25 or $1.50 all individually wrapped. Other places charging $1.80 like the Akko Cake Shop in Mississauga and always low in stock.1. Pineapple Bun (bbq pork filling)Great moist bread, pleasant sweet pineapple topping, and thick bbq meat filling. Subjectively a 89%.2. Cream bunGreat moist bread, the cream was medium fat and sweet. The cream is the most important part of this bun and was a little bit above average. A White person or a Banana (Asian yellow on the outside and white personality on the inside) would like more fat/butter in the cream and it could be a bit more sweeter. An Asian person would probably find the bun just right in fat and sweetness. Subjectively a 81%.
The price point is quite reasonable. I have no complaints about the food. The buns are delicious and budget-friendly.
I've been to this bakery a few times. I bought the Japanese cheesecake and white mochi balls with peanut filling. They were good but just a tad too sweet for asian people. It would be great if it was less sweet. Bakery items are good ?
Love their pork and cabbage buns. I’ve been having them since I was young
