Sugarloaf Island Bakery - Morehead City

So my wife knows that Key Lime Pie is my favorite dessert. Two years in a row, she got me the Key Lime Pie from Sugarloaf Island and I really can't say enough good things about it. Its creamy, its slightly tangy, its correct amount of sweet. It's literally the best and most perfect Key Lime Pie I've ever had in my life. Thank you. Sugar Island yall absolutely rock and this cake is for to die.

We bought cream puffs, flourless chocolate cake, and a cinnamon roll. Between three people, we had eaten most of it before getting home. The cream puffs cream has an awesome consistency where it melts in your mouth but retains is cool temperature. The cinnamon roll has an almost flaky texture but still has a more substantial weight to it. The flourless chocolate cake is delicious. Probably my favorite of all three treats. Smooth. Not too rich, and just the right density. Prices are AMAZING. 100% coming back! Highly recommend.

If you’re visiting and anywhere in the vicinity of this awesome shop, GO! The ham and cheese croissant was so good that we came back a second day before leaving just to have it again. They are kind and accommodating. 10/10

This place is the best!!! So good I crave it when I'm not in town. Try one of everything and pick a favorite bc it is all good! The staff ain't too bad either! Great service, good prices and great food! U can't go wrong! Will always be back for more!

Cinnamon rolls were def worth the drive. Flaky like a croissant and super tasty! Staff very friendly too! Will be back!
