Soundside - Morehead City

I chose SoundSide restaurant for my birthday dinner last night and so glad I did. My husband had made the reservation, which is now required for the dining room and the bar, so that the staff can accommodate people and offer top service. Our waitress, Summer, was attentive and wonderful, and we enjoyed one of the best dinners. I recommend the wedge salad, the fillet and the chocolate flourless cake. (Dessert is free for the person's birthday. Thanks to everyone at SoundSide!

My family and I came here for birthday dinner. The food was great. The atmosphere was very comfortable. Come on.

My husband and I went here for Valentine's Day last month and although she was completely out of Steak (the main reason I wanted to come) the lamb special was delicious! My husband got the shrimp sampling and we both shared the shrimp dimmer. The crab dive was not my favorite, but then again I am not huge on crab, my husband loved it though. The waitress was very friendly and very helpful. I asked if there is any way to get a non-alcoholic berry limonade drink (not on the menu), and she had it something special for me and it was exactly what I wanted! We'll be back here.

The food was great, the whole staff was great. Great overall experience.

The food is delicious. Staff is super attentive without being over bearing. Nice ambiance. I would've given them 5 stars but the wait on the food was toooooo long. It was approximately 45 mins before we got our food.
