The North Fork Roadhouse - Mattituck

Food took way too long to come out. When it finally arrived about hour later all food was cold. Mussels had no flavor. Waitress only came out 3x to table. We had to ask a bus boy for drink refill. Sorry we stayed for the entree. We felt like we weren't wanted there.Requested to talk to manager to relay our experience. She was empathetic and gave us a zero check. She suggested we give them a second try on a not so busy time.I thank the manager. Hopefully my criticism will be helpful and the waitress will treat all her customers equal. No one wants to be discriminated and ignored.

This place was so much fun. The folks who work there work hard to ensure their guests are happy. The night I went there was a fantastic musician who kept the patrons involved and entertained throughout the evening. We were just stopping by for a quick bite, but ended up closing the place down because we were having so much fun and were treated so well by staff.

Pulled pork sammich was amazing. The 1/2 rack ribs was moist inside and crisp on outside. The Mac and cheese was awesome and yes, even the corn bread was great. I didn’t have but the wife did enjoy the cheesecake.

GREAT vibe, loved the layout, the food, the staff and the music (inhouse and the live music outside!
