Cj's American Grill - Mattituck

Disappointing experience. Based on earlier reviews, we expected the food to be quite good. However, the seafood bisque was overly salty, making it almost inedible. My Reuben sandwich was passable, but my wife's grilled chicken sandwich was very bland. The sauce that accompanied the sweet potato fries tasted strangely like pancake syrup. The only items I can recommend are the tater tots I had and the bread. On a positive note, the service was excellent.

I discovered this restaurant while exploring out East with a friend. The food was excellent, and the relaxed lunch vibe made for a great experience. I would definitely visit again the next time I'm in the area!

The Yankee Potroast sandwich was incredible! It was so tender! I highly recommend it. I had it for lunch, but I can't wait to return and try the dinner. Absolutely outstanding!

Such a great place! Lynn was our waiter and attended us with a high level of service. Especially having a table of 5 kids. She was wonderful. Had coloring books and crayons for the kids. My food was also very delicious.

Just had a wonderful lunch with my husband. The restaurant is immaculate and the staff is very friendly and attentive. The food is delicious! I've been there several times and it never disappoints.
