We had dinner on the evening of our overnight stay in martens. we had reserved the table for 20, but it wasn't ready and we had to wait almost half an hour! dinner in varanda in front of a spectacular sunset. matane shrimp cocktail served only boiled with sauce apart: better, so we could appreciate the goodness of the product. to follow the sea axiette that included a trancio of salmon to the oven with sauce, 3 shrimps and 2 grilled sea combs as well as a mixture of excellent verdurine. the fresh fish really gouty and cooked wisely. two cups of white of the Quebec for a total of 165$can including the omnipresent tip. not just at good price, but it was worth both food and location!
This hotel restaurant is ideally well located with view of the Saint Laurentle service is impeccable even if the service is a bit long, the whole rate is a little high, but the products are of good quality
We stayed at the Hotel so we took the meal plan. The restaurant is cozy with a beautiful view of the sunset. The dishes size are reasonable. I had the 'assiette de la mer', with a piece of salmon, 2 scallops and shrimps. It was very good. For dessert, they have a buffet with all types of cakes and sweets (carrot cake, lemon pie, tarte aux pacanes, macarons etc)
We had dinner at the hotel restaurant and were very pleased with the fresh and high-quality food. The portion sizes were satisfying and the prices were appropriate considering the location and service. I highly recommend trying the marinated shrimp and cod dish. The service was excellent.
