Strawn's Eat Shop - Shreveport

UPDATE: Sept 14, 2024, walked in specifically for a slice of pie for me and my husband, was quickly told to have a seat anywhere as usual!! We know the routine! So i replied back, we just wanted pie to go! Well GiGi ran over, told us what was available and i took 2 piece of the Strawberry and 1 coconut! She was so quick, nice, and just sweet! Go see GiGi and get yours! The strawberry icebox pie is the BEST! Their customer service is always top notch and we love the staff!! Thank you again GiGi, we will see you again possibly in Jan 2025! Been coming here over 7 years now! I don't know where my mind been, just tried the strawberry pie and oh my!!!! All I can say is get that pie by the slice or whole! The service and food is always good to me! Karen is the sweetest and quickest server, just great customer service! Park in front if there are spots, or go around the building on next street to the back and plenty parking there, just go up the stairs and your in! Definitely a recommended restaurant for locals or travelers like myself!!!

Very nice restaurant to get a bite. They treat you like family once they get to know you. They provide breakfast and lunch. Hubby enjoyed his meal and loves the biscuits. Oh, and they, sometimes provide a slice of strawberry icebox pie which is pretty good!

The food and service was super GOOD! I was disappointed in the pie. I really wanted a piece of old timey chocolate pie with meringue, it was an icebox pie. I guess that recipe departed with the legends.

Went for breakfast for the first time. Got an omelet with hashbrowns and a biscuit. Everything was cooked perfectly. The biscuit is made just like grandma's. The hashbrowns were fresh cut potatoes seasoned perfectly. Omelet was made to order with ham, cheese, tomatoes, and mushrooms. It was at least 3 eggs. Service was on point. Coffee was fresh and hot.
