William B's Steakhouse - Shreveport

Caesar Salad was very good we both had I had the crab cake app as my entree with side of Mac and cheese Wife had chicken parmesan, the pasta could have used more sauce Horia was excellent as always, William B’s is really good it’s not as busy as it was or should be honestly, give it a try if you haven’t before

When we arrived at the restaurant, the hostess was not there. It took about 5 minutes before she appeared and explained that she was busy setting up our table. Despite her efforts, the settings were missing on two seats when we arrived at our table. The waitress was friendly and efficient when taking our initial order. Besides us, the only other group in the restaurant was a party of four. The food was mediocre at best, especially considering the prices. The au gratin potatoes were decent, but everything else was either too salty or tough. We ordered a variety of dishes including grilled asparagus, French onion soup, bone-in steak, NY strip, fondue, salmon, and chicken parmigiana. Only the pasta stood out as delicious, while the rest went mostly uneaten. It's disappointing to see the potential of this place not being met. Perhaps that's why it was so empty. Unfortunately, we won't be returning.

The food was terrible. We ordered a medium filet, but it was too red, not medium. The au gratin potatoes were undercooked, and my crab bisque was swimming in butter and what seemed to be heavy saffron. We hardly ate anything. And I didn't even mention the peppercorn steak sauce we ordered, which was like eating straight peppercorns. Given the price we paid, we were expecting better quality. There was no seasoning on any dish, and it definitely did not meet the standards expected for the price we paid.

Great food and excellent service! Wonderful experience.

Angelica was an excellent server and helpful with menu selection. The blackened beef tips, onion soup, mozzarella salad and Cajun snapper were delicious. Will return.
