Johnny's Tavern - Lawrence

My experiences with Johnnys never surprise me. I was there for a business dinner today, and the waiting staff knew how to process our lunch payment, just like our meal arrived! In this way, if someone in my party needed to leave shortly after completing their meal, they could do this without additional stress. This is just an example of how Johnny surpasses expectations and places customers first. Here are many more nights in Johnny's Tavern!!

Burger was great, and the sweet potatories were great. Every time I'm in Lawrence, I eat here.

A true Lawrence original! Me and the Fam (and friends) come here regularly! Great atmosphere to watch sports games, many TV screens with multiple types of football, baseball, hockey and basketball. Everything in a great family atmosphere. I usually get cheese sticks when I get here. Your pizza is absolutely amazing.

Two ladies out on the town...We sat at the bar for the fun and atmosphere. Unfortunately, our service was not the greatest. Ignored by one of the bartenders, who had initially greeted us half-assedly; the smile she gave to the guy who came up to the bar after us was worth 100 bucks. The other bartender tried her best to make the rounds, she was sweet, but overwhelmed. Neither one of them seemed like they wanted to be there, but they both gave the male customers quite a bit of attention. Which sucks, because we are fun as hell, and tip well. Don't get me wrong, I get it, make your money the best way you know how sis.The Johnny's lager was tasty. The Tank 7 Burger Melt was pretty good, the cook on it was exactly what I asked for. The sauce was rather delicious. Added jalapenos. The seasoned fries were all right. Nothing super fantastic. Many options for a diverse menu.There was lots of seating off away from the excitement of the bar, so I can imagine that you could have a very intimate moment if desired. Lots of TV's and a definite sports bar feel in the heart of the place. It was fun to people watch; and had a great moment to ourselves despite the busy environment.I recommend this place for sports goers, especially the dudes.Parking: This business is located within a strip mall of multiple other businesses. The parking is pretty limited.
