El Dos Mexican - Hays

This place used to be a go-to. Maybe it still is, but don't go on a Sunday. Orders were wrong, food was below average, hair was in the salsa, and the server checked on us once during the meal. I'll be going somewhere else for a while.

Cold chips. Cold Aqua (Water) Nice atmosphere very Lovely ? Music. Bilingual waiters. Kid friendly….. Kid-friendliness: Kid menu and coloful atmosphere!!!!

Nice place, food was good and the food came quickly. They weren't busy at all so we got in and out quickly. Ordered beef fajitas, chicken fajitas and taco platter. Tasted really good. Salsa was good, chips pretty good. Not bad for Hays, Kansas! The server wasn't rude but just wasn't very friendly. We would probably return if back in Hays. I would've rated higher but based on some other Mexican restaurants I've visited this was 4 star instead of 5. Thanks! Vegetarian options: Not often so I see a vegetarian section on the menu and they had it! Parking: Lots of spaces, very easy. Kid-friendliness: Very family friendly, nice kids menu!

Based on my experience here, the food was served hot and fresh. It lacked flavor, but it was pretty decent for the most part. Customer service was alright. A huge downside were the amount of flies within the establishment. Not necessarily any fault of the employees, but the flies were a real nuisance due to the various ones constantly at our table and the surrounding area. The restrooms were clean. Wait time was minimal. Prices seemed average. Vegetarian options available. Would probably recommend and maybe consider returning.

We had terrible service and was very expensive. 3 kids meals , 2 adult meals with soft drinks and water to drink was $72.00 . Our server mixed our order up with another table
