Trio Tap House - Hays

Here for dinner while traveling through kansas. the food was very good that we had sirloin steak, and the first-class steaksalat and the icy was also good! but what really impressed us was the service! the sirloin steak was ordered mid-seldom and it came out more rarely, and the green beans were seasoned. my dad asked to cook the steak a little more and have green beans. fortunately they did both and the chef went so far to ask how he cooked the buoys. the food came out perfectly, but only before we ask if we were satisfied with everything else. after dinner they told us that they would give us a dessert about the house. we chose bananen promote cheesecake that was also delicious! great experience

Some of the most exceptional restaurant food in the area. It really seems like the owners are inspired to deliver a high quality food experience. The staff was friendly, fast, and balanced, which I hope means that they are treated well. When family from out of town come to visit, this is where we take them. Great restaurant, outstanding food.

Had the chicken fried steak and amber beer. Very good food and the beer was cold and fresh!

I’ve lived in Hays for 8 years now and I just can’t warm up to Trios. I’m probably missing something as a lot of people claim it to be the “best restaurant in Hays”, but I just do not care for the food. Steaks are poorly seasoned, pastas is dry and lacks flavor, sandwich’s are mid at best…. The atmosphere is a lot of fun for a mid-tier date night though, with a nice bar. Staff is good for the most part.

Best food Ive had in Hays so far. If you are traveling down I-70 and looking for a quality lunch stop, I completely recommend TRIO. I had a sour beer (cannot remember the name, but carefully selected. with my reuben and waffle fries. Reubens was both delicious and correct. (few sandwiches have to be correct like the majestic reuben. ALSO, reasonably priced!
