Vittles In The Pines - Gaithersburg

So is it worth the trip you ask? I don’t know about you but I like my food tasty. These folks meet that criteria with loads to spare. Reasonably priced food cooked and served by cheerful, polite people. Yes, it is worth my time and money. Best of all, it’s worth yours too. Do your mouth a flavor and drive on over. Eat it there or take it home, it’s delicious either way!

We stopped by Elder Pine this afternoon for some beers and were pleasantly surprised to find Vittles in the Pines had teamed up with the brewery. The food was incredible! We had the Cuban sandwich and the tots with pulled pork did not disappoint! Excellent food, excellent service! Stop by for beers and BBQ, you’ll be happy you did!

VIP never disappoints. Care is taken with each of their menu items and also in their preparation of the food. From the jerk chicken to the smoked ribs to the loaded tots..each goes well with the beer on tap and the laid back atmosphere.

Boyfriend and i went to Elder Pines for a couple drinks this past weekend and was pleasantly surprised with the food that was supplied by Vittles in the Pines. As a novice smoker myself, i know the time and care that goes into goes smoking BBQ and can truly appreciate good BBQ when stumbled upon.Ordered the loaded tots smothered in sloppy joe mix and smoked pulled pork tacos. The pulled pork tacos were fantastic. Juicy and flavorful. Couldn't have asked for a better pair with the beers that are offered at Elderpine. Owner, Richard and his staff showed so much hospitality that even then that would sway one to buy something off their menu. Highly recommend.

The staff at this restaurant are incredibly friendly and dedicated. The lineup is excellent and the dishes were well-seasoned. From brioche rolls to house-made Slav and pickles, everything was delicious. You won't be disappointed! The only thing I would suggest changing is the name, which doesn't really explain the menu. The city dictionary has some interesting definitions for "Vittle." Overall, a great experience!
