The Daylesford Hot Chocolate Company

Best hot chocolate I the Daylesford- Hepburn Springs area. Especially on the coolish day like today, we needed to be warmed up, after visiting the farmers market. Perfect hot chocolate was what was needed. My wife had the cinnamon hot chocolate with a huge marshmallow . I had a mocha dark chocolate with Bon soy milk, as I don't have a sweet tooth this was perfect. The location been nect to the market is great too. Highly recommend this place if you are around or visiting the Daylesford farmers market. You will love the service and chocolates.

Amazing hot chocolates and sweet things, served with beautiful cutlery in a cozy, lovely setting with just the right atmosphere.

Fantastic hot chocolate, also fantastic service. Nice, cozy place. My partner accidentally left his wallet here, we didn’t notice until we got home. We’re very fortunate that the attentive staff found it and kept it behind the counter for him. Absolutely lovely place, can’t wait to come back.

3.5 stars overall. Most of the stars are for the ambience of a vintage quaint French vibe in the store that also had some second hand books all things I love. The hot chocolate itself was good enough. The milk chocolate was very thin but the dark chocolate is good we are glad we purchased one of each and mixed it together ourselves else I would not have have drank the milk chocolate. The blow torched marshmallow was a nice touch. It was quiet when I went to get the takeaways hence could take in the ambience as we tried to go in during brunch time earlier and it was packed/ chaotic so we left. We are spoilt in Melbourne for amazing hot chocolates but this was probably the best hot chocolate we had in Daylesford but it does not compare to koko black, hardware society, mork etc. for serious hot chocolate lovers keep this in mind. P.s.: grateful to a lovely lady who helped me open the door she clearly saw my struggle to open the door with two hot chocolates and one marshmallow skewer (as the dark chocolate doesn’t come with marshmallow)
