Galley Diner - DAYLESFORD

Great lunch place. Quirky 50's decor. Menu is not lite but solid southern USA sort of menu. Very nice and filling! Good cocktail menu.

This is one place which I could call it as the oasis of Dalesford. Honestly speaking i didnt expect to have such a good meal when I came to Dale'sford and thought might have to just eat fish and chips due to lack of food places in a regional location.Galley Diner really surprised us with the quality of their food.we had burgers and fries.There is a range of sauces to choose from which is really fantastic.The burgers we so full of flavors and the fries were out of this world .I must admit the fries are the best tasting battered seasoned crispy fries I have tasted in the Australia. I could say this boldly I really wont mind driving from Melbourne to Dalesford just to have a meal.If you are visiting Dale'sford you must visit this place.we will definitely be back soon that too with lot of friends.cant wait.

Not sure what the bad reviews are on about. This place was awesome. I’m an American (living in Australia) and this was the best proper diner food I’ve had since I moved here 7 years ago. The burger was great, the milkshake was great but the fried chicken (which my husband ordered) was NEXT LEVEL amazing. Definitely gonna come back.

This might sound like an overstatement but the McBogan burger is the best burger I have ever eaten. I ordered it as a bit of a joke, being a bit of a bogan and having a surname McDonald. The beef patty was juicy and delicious the bacon perfectly crispy the egg only a little runny and the salad as fresh as if it was just picked.

Great diner with good food. Unfortunately when we went they were out of a couple of items on the menu that we wanted.. Regardless we went and tried a few other things on their menu and it was not greasy, fried chicken was light and tasty and burgers were cooked well!
