Bidrage med feedbackFor our appetizer, we chose the spinach artichoke dip, which turned out to be quite average. To compound our disappointment, when the waiter packaged it to-go, the flatbread became soggy as it was placed directly on top of the dip. Honestly, I would have preferred not to receive it in that condition. I was also surprised to learn that all side items had to be ordered separately from the entrees, especially since the cheapest entree on the menu was $25. Perhaps this is standard for fine dining, but I wasn’t aware of it. I ordered a side of roasted red potatoes, which ended up being the highlight of my meal. They were simply cubed, cooked, lightly brushed with oil, and sprinkled with salt. A touch of ketchup would have made them even better. My boyfriend ordered scallops, and while he noted that the seafood was high-quality and perfectly cooked, he found the dish rather bland and ended up taking the lemon wedge from my iced tea to add some flavor. It was served in a large bowl of orange sauce that lacked any taste. I received a similarly vibrant sauce drizzled on my plate, but despite several tastings, it was flavorless. For dessert, we tried the crème brûlée, which I’ve enjoyed many times before. Unfortunately, what we were served was unacceptable. The bottom was ice-cold, while the top was burnt to the point of tasting like ash. I understand it should have a caramelized sugar crust, but it shouldn't taste charred. In summary, if you're looking for high-quality meat that’s perfectly cooked but lacking in seasoning, this is the place for you. However, if you crave exciting flavors, I suggest looking elsewhere. Ultimately, I would have been happier spending $25 on a bean burrito from Taco Bell.
