Played the course on November 5, 2023 as a guest of a member. My expectations were low given how long the course had been closed, but I was pleasantly surprised. The greens were great. The fairways were a little shaggy but in very good condition. I’ll definitely go back !

Played Cat Island golf club on July 30th 2023 during a VGA tournament. Overall this is a nice course and has its challenging moments. The best thing about this cause is its greens. They are in great condition and roll honest and true. The fairways, tee boxes, and bunkers are also in good condition. You must land in the fairway or you will be punching out of some very thick rough. Nice range and putting green for practice. However, the course is still working on adding to the course due to being shut down for a few years. One thing they MUST do immediately is put more water to drink on the course. It is way too hot in SC to only have 2 water points throughout 18 holes. This made the round a little hard to enjoy honesty. But, great course for anyone looking to join this private golf club.

Do not waste your money at this facility. A total scam. Have taken money for memberships and have done nothing to get the course open. They mow it with two lawn mowers and keep telling everyone that it will be open soon. Big scam!!

This pool is always closing down due to problems. Last year (2020) they closed in September due to their pump being broken. They didn’t open in 2021 until June due to the pump still not working, and we come to the pool Labor Day weekend to find the pool was closed on order of DHEC. No notification about the closing, and no idea of when/if it will reopen. This is not acceptable for how much you pay for the pool. Go somewhere else if you’re looking for a pool that stays open.
