Youbou Grill

I have lived in Vancouver and Victoria for 20 years combined and this is one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. The food is exceptional every time, the service is fantastic, and the prices are very reasonable. I highly highly recommend checking this place out, even if it is out of your way! Had a phenomenal burger here. Love the made-in-house patty , it was juicy and cooked perfectly. You can really tell when a chef cares about small details and the food was created with care. I really enjoyed the sunshine on the patio and the service was great! I'll be back, thanks a bunch! Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch

Ok! So... I've not been to the Youbou pub in probably 10 years but this afternoon on our way home from our property I said Hey let's go in. Ohhhhhh Myyyyy Goshhhhhhh! We had soy green onion chicken wings to start and The chicken pot pie... The wings were great! And then along came the pie....holy crap!!! I swear I have not had a meal this good in a restaurant in years ....it is way better then my own chicken pot pie which I pride myself on!!!! It has a beautiful, buttery, perfect ,flakey top and bottom crust and the filling is what pot pie dream are made of. When were we eating it I could not stop talking about how delicious it was! This is a big deal for me because my husband and I are both good cooks so we can be a little picky at times. There's 12 left (I think we bought 2 to go.... If you are craving comfort food you will not be disappointed in going for this. I never write stuff about food but this deserved a post!!!! I should have taken a pic of the inside but I couldn't stop shovelling it into my mouth.. Pure heaven!!!!

Went here for the second time. Food was great again, but the server was so disinterested and rude that I won't return. My appetizer came after the main course when I asked if she'd forgotten the appetizer, which tends to come first, she replied, I only have 2 hands. Serving 101 : appetizers come before dinner. Served flat pop and told me to let it know if it tasted right... I really enjoyed this restaurant the first time, but that server has ruined it for me, hopefully you will get a better server and management will do a better job of hiring servers
