Cow Cafe - Lake Cowichan

We go quite often, absolutely love the food their prime rib poutine is one of our favs but the ribs are amazing and the penne Pacifico is a huge hit! But the thing we always crave is the mushroom caps they are to die for. it’s got a very chill atmosphere and the staff is so nice.Kid-friendliness: One of the few places my picky eater niece enjoys

Butter chicken was bad. Seemed slimy, and the rice tasted like chicken oxo.

Really tasty but really rich. A good option in Lake Cowichan.

Excellent food and service, waitress was extremely nice and attentive, bumbleberry parfait was delicious!

The Cow Restaurant is an absolute culinary gem that deserves nothing less than a stellar 5-star rating.The highlights included friendly, informative staff that went above and beyond to give us tips about our vacation on the island and a unique menu that showed the staff had a creative and passionate mind.Genuinely some of the best food we’ve ever had! Specifically the Cookie Monster Cheesecake (made in-house).We’ll definitely be dreaming about this food when we return to Ontario!
