Bidrage med feedbackThe food at this restaurant is incredible and offers exceptional value for its price and quality. The space is a bit older and small, and may be in need of some renovations soon.
This restaurant has been in business for many years. I typically order takeout from here, and while I don't come often, I have always enjoyed the consistently good food.
I entered Ilpunji Sushi House with low expectations but left pleasantly surprised! It's a wonderful, peaceful spot to enjoy some decent quality sushi.
This has been the go-to Japanese restaurant that my family and I have been going to since I was in university. They always have fresh ingredients and the perfect portion sizes. My husband and I moved out of town, and this is always the place...More
I reviewed this restaurant in October 2014. At that time (and for the past 10 years) it had been my go-to Japanese restaurant in this neck of the woods. Authentic Japanese in a sea of wanna-be's! Oh how much has changed! I knew the quality & service had changed since new owners took over, but I thought I'd give it a couple of chances to get back in it's groove. Unfortunately that never happened. Tonight my family of 7 went for dinner and we were the only ones there - from 6pm to 8pm - no one else came in. Nothing we ordered tasted like what we were used to. The Katsus and Donburri's were not well cooked and looked a bit odd. The Tempura batter was flimsy and had a bad oil taste to it, even the appetizer noodles did not have their usual sesame flavour. The 9 pieces of Sushi appetizer just consisted of salmon and white fish with one piece of tuna. My daughter couldn't finish the salmon teriyaki bento box. The new management are not Japanese and like a lot of "Japanese" restaurants in the Markham area run by Chinese it doesn't give you the authentic Japanense tastes and style of this cuisine.
