Bidrage med feedbackI visited this restaurant with my family for a Saturday brunch of dim sum. After a short 10-minute wait, we were seated at a table for five. This is one of the few Chinese restaurants that still offers dim sum served on carts by servers. It helps to understand Cantonese when placing orders, as there are no menus. We tried a variety of dishes including shrimp dumplings, pork dumplings, marinated steamed chicken feet, egg tarts, deep fried tofu/eggplant, steamed beef balls, beef ribs, and cotton chicken. The quality and quantity of the food were good, with a high level of consistency. One thing to note is that the men's and women's restrooms are adjacent with the doors open, so be careful when entering to avoid any embarrassing mishaps. I accidentally went into the women's restroom for the second time!
We've been going to this restaurant for 20 years. Food is always fresh with a lot of choice on the menu. The staff is very helpful in selecting articles and if we have forgotten the name and we explain how it looks like they always find it...for us. Newly renovated, beautiful dining area. Always busy, but wait no more than 20 minutes if you have no reservation.
In the last 2 months we had eaten several times at Century Palace. Food quality seems generally good to speak, but the service is lacking. The bad service became so obvious and almost unbearable by our evening culinary experience last Sunday. The menu was delivered only after repeated requests. Several requirements for hot water on tea pots were simply ignored. They were mixed between the 2 tables for our party of 17 people. Plates were removed halfway from Diners without replacing clean plates. At 8:30 there was almost no waiter or waiter on the ground. It is not a pleasant culinary experience at all. Not recommended.
This restaurant is closed. Not in business anymore. This is the end of the time when people visit and get low-cost dim sum and spent 30-40 dollars for a dinner dance.
I took the family to Father's Day last year. Markham Foodie recommended it. When we arrived, the place was full. We got it just before noon to use the early discount. We sat very fast, and the cars came and often went so that we never waited too long for any stuff. The family liked most of the available elections. Although most employees cannot speak English or not, we could get what we have anointed, and we had anger about someone who could speak English because we had difficulty asking about some of the dishes. The place is big and full, many conversations on many tables. If you are looking for a quiet place for lunch, brunch or dinner, this is not the place. The food was good, the service was good, the bill was accurate, and the manager was very helpful. I knew I had been there for a few minutes that it wasn't my first time. I haven't been there for a few years. Still the same quality and service. We love the cars and we love the food, so we will be back!!
