Angus Glen Golf Course Restaurant

Came here for an event rather than golf, Angus Glen GC is a beauty on the outskirts of Markham.

Aha you almost got me! I was THIS close to signing with Angus Glen to host my own wedding, but it just missed out.

What's not to like? Gorgeous piece of real estate made into two incredible tracks Sure it even play host to the Canadian Open a few times.

Booked this Sunday afternoon for my sisters birthday...what a disappointment!! Not worthy of the label..afternoon tea!Sat in the LARGE , cold room with loud rock music playing!Food was fair...the brown square of bread for the smoked salmon was hard and stale.Best one was the roasted veggie wrap..Scones..not really scones but rather tasteless tea biscuits. The shortbread cookie was so sweet, soft..no better than a sugar cookie! Plus items were the fruit skewers and the tea.Service was adequate....

Stopped ion for a bite and a beer after our round. Excellent service, friendly staff and a good set of menu options made this a no-brainer. Was'nt too pricey either all things considered....
