Walsh's Bar Restaurant - Woodford

I celebrated my birthday and invited my wife and 6 friends to the restaurant. The food was excellent and there was plenty of it.

I was unable to find lodging near Woodford Co. Galway until someone mentioned that Walsh's bar had available rooms. I booked a one-night stay with three others for bed and breakfast. Upon arrival, we received a warm welcome from the owner. The rooms were fantastic, spotlessly clean and cozy, with comfortable beds. We were offered food and welcomed into the bar where the atmosphere was lively. Breakfast consisted of a hearty Irish fry, which kept us satisfied until late afternoon. I would definitely stay here again.

This cozy pub situated in a small Irish town served delicious food and provided a cozy atmosphere after hiking in the nearby forest. It was enjoyable to chat with the locals and truly feel immersed in the Irish culture.

The food at this restaurant is absolutely fantastic. We dined there multiple times last week and every meal was exceptional. The pub has a very traditional Irish feel and is quite charming. It is located in the center of the village. I highly recommend this restaurant. They also now offer brand new accommodation that is excellent.

Intimate/cozy/clean pub restaurant with friendly staff that was recommended by a local… good variety of menu choices our table ordered the steak dinner one of the steaks ordered blue and was perfect and the fish and chips dinner which had a thick, fresh piece of cod. Sides were fresh and tasty. Also ordered the chicken wings appetizer, and it was as good as ever had back in the states. The bottle of Malbec reasonably priced and good quality. All in all, it was worth going a little out of the way to enjoy.
