China Star - WINSTED

Our go to place for Chinese food in the Winsted area. We've tried several others in the area but none compare to the selection and taste of China Star. If you're looking for Chinese food that'll be ready in 10-15 minutes and tastes delicious, look no further and give China Star a try!

This is an excellent restaurant with great food. We stopped by for a delivery and were greeted by the friendly family there. They served us some delicious, fresh General Tso's chicken, which was moist with a crispy coating. The onions in the fried rice were fresh, crispy, and flavorful. The staff was fantastic as well. If I’m ever in the area again, I’ll definitely come back to support them.

CRAB RANGOON has officially won me over! It was my first visit, and I couldn't be happier. Every dish I ordered surpassed any Chinese food I've tried within a 20-mile radius. I was particularly impressed with the crab Rangoon; the wontons were a perfect size and the quality and quantity of the filling were just right. I also enjoyed the pork steamed dumplings and the fantail shrimp, which had a wonderfully crispy coating and wasn't overly greasy. The pork lo mein was fantastic as well. My spouse ordered the General Tso's chicken and was equally pleased. The staff was very friendly, even notifying us when our food was ready. I've definitely found my new go-to spot!

I ordered the combination plate with General Tsao's Chicken, which came with pork and an egg roll. It was incredible and very flavorful. We will definitely be ordering from them again!
