Asa's Steakhouse And Seafood - WINSTED

Owner is so rude. Food took forever for a basic breakfast for 2. Eggshell in my eggs, home fries were so dry I needed ketchup to choke them down and I hate ketchup. Owner was rude when we wanted a receipt because the printer was out of paper but we hadn 't signed for the credit card yet, because there was no paper. He was very loud in his comments that of course we need a receipt and to the waitress that he didn 't have time for that s (to go in his stockroom for paper). Complaining about other customers loud enough for us to hear. That was our 2nd visit, first one was such the same but tried again anyway. Never again.

Absolutely incredible! Food is fresh and cooked to perfection. Our 3 children finished ALL of their meals for the first time, no leftovers. We were very impressed and can’t wait to come back for dinner. I can’t recommend enough, thank you!!

Just great steak. My girlfriend had glazed salmon that was also very tasty. We both had a very good twice baked potato too! I will be going back again.

The porterhouse is EXQUISITE seared toPerfection with a unique style topped with sautéed mushrooms ? very very pleasing on the pallet the new chef is definitely putting out some great food ! Family style restaurants are the best A+

I had an amazing lunch at Asa's. The ribeye was cooked to perfection. Twice backed potatoe on the money. Hand sliced fries as fresh as could be. Very reasonable on price. Asa is planning bbq nights in the summer. Definitely will be attending. Thanks again for a great meal!
