Hometown Bbq Ice Cream - Wingate

This is a local eatery that hasn’t been open for long. The only indication of its presence is a temporary banner that looks hand-painted. They use plastic disposable plates, cups, and utensils. I ordered the pork BBQ plate, but the meat was quite dry. There was some sauce on the table that helped improve the flavor. The green beans and baked beans were decent, though I suspect they came straight from a can. The only girl working in the dining room was very friendly and provided excellent service. I might give them another try in the future and sample the burgers.
