Petie's Family - Willowick

We hadn't been to Petie's since the covid shutdown and we're excited to go there again for breakfast this morning since we'd always enjoyed eating there. Such a disappointment! The food was meh very bland and unseasoned. The homefries seemed to be just plain shredded potatoes no onions, no salt or pepper not even a hint of cooking oil just hot shredded potatoes with the tiniest hint of crispiness. The omelet was slightly better only because it had a lot of vegetables but again not a hint of seasoning. The grits were bland and had a pasty texture and the coffee tasted burnt. SO disappointed. Would have sent it back but we had to be somewhere in a short while so couldn't stick around. Even the rye toast was disappointing square sandwich rye rather that the crispy crust of true deli rye. I expected to really enjoy this breakfast what a let down! Staff was friendly, service was quick food was a big letdown

Peties is a great place for breakfast. Huge omelettes and good sausage gravy and biscuits. You get a huge meal at a good price. The service is pretty good as well.

My latest visit was just as fantastic as always. It truly doesn't matter what you choose from the menu; every dish is prepared to perfection. Breakfast is my favorite meal here, and this time I tried the Florentine omelette, which was cooked flawlessly. Their other breakfast selections are equally impressive, and the lunch menu is great as well.

I was promptly greeted and seated as soon as I arrived. The waitress immediately took my drink order. The menu offered a wide selection, ranging from classic breakfast items to an assortment of skillets, as well as an impressive variety of pancakes, waffles, and French toast. The atmosphere was pleasant, with multiple TVs around the dining area. My food arrived incredibly quickly, and everything was fresh, flavorful, well-cooked, and delicious. My coffee and water were regularly refilled. The prices were quite reasonable. Overall, it was a very enjoyable breakfast experience.

I've lived in the area for almost 3 years and had no idea this place existed. But let me tell ya, do not pass up the opportunity to visit this gem! It's such a cute hole in the wall spot and the food is SO GOOD. The portion sizes are pretty massive so you'll probably have leftovers. The service was so fast that my friend and I looked at each other shocked when the food arrived. If you haven't already, give this place a try!
