Bidrage med feedbackI've had gluten free chips from here loads of times . Other people are saying they have had pieces of batter on there's but I've never had a single piece . Absolutely gorgeous chips . And the staff are very polite.
Good selection of gluten free items. Even provided vinegar. I opted for fish and chips. I also had a pop of curry sauce, which was nice but not the traditional flavour I remember from chip shops. Lots of fish and chips in the box and not at all greasy. Really tasty and I enjoyed them on a bench overlooking the sea!
Wouldn't reccommend for coeliacs very small kitchen, I asked about cc and was told they have a frier for chips and a gluten free one at the very front (where boxes of gluten containing items are passed over, so bits could fall in). I ordered anyways, expecting them to use the dedicated frier anyways but because I ordered chips they just got my portion from the frier with the chips right next to all the gluten containing frier food so cc seems likely. Given how well they answered my questions/their patience I just ordered a chips thinking that would be safer than battered food. Got my chips, quite a lot of small batter pieces on the chips. I know chips can often look like batter when they've been in a frier a while but this was very soft crumbly batter, a different colour and texture to other obviously smaller chip bits. I'm already suffering with stomach pain and tongue ulcers a few hours later. I'm very careful at home and go to extremes to avoid it so I'm gutted. I go away in just over a week and I'm going to be very lethargic and achey etc. Would avoid if more than gluten intolerant
