Bonjour Brioche - West Toronto

This place was recommended by our a local. Not a pastry person, I was sceptical. I was wrong, there is so much right about this place! Pastries yes, but also bread, tarts and a lovely lunch menu. Service is also exceptional. A little gem in...the lovely Riverside neighbourhood.

Located on Queen Street just west of Jimmie Simpson Park, Bonjour Brioche is a charming French café housed in a period building with a beautiful shaded patio. The restaurant offers delicious French brasserie dishes, including their famous croques, delectable pastries such as clafoutis and lemon tart, and freshly baked baguettes. The staff is friendly and efficient, even during busy weekend brunch service when the place gets packed with patrons.

A perfect point for food lovers, theyhave different varieties of burger in theirstore. Golden salads is myfavourite and a worth giving a shot. Theydon't have much seating arrangement but you canbuy and take your popcorn for your walkjourney.

I visited this restaurant on a Saturday morning and was seated immediately. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. I ordered the special egg dish of the day and also tried some scones. I definitely recommend this place for breakfast or brunch. Just a heads up, they only accept cash. It's best to arrive early to avoid waiting.

For lovers of good French patisserie and who will do anything for a properly made croissant, this is the best place to go. The croissants, pain au chocolat, and brioche are all made every morning and are so irresistable that I can never eat just one! Their house baked breads (especially the foccacia) are delicious, and if you go on a weekend, the spicy bacon sandwich has to be tried. They also have a chocolate cake that will satisfy any chocolate craving.<br/ It gets very busy on weekends so I would consider ordering to go.<br/ <br/
