Bidrage med feedbackI have 20+ years of experience in the restaurant industry. I have a lot of forgiveness when it comes to lack of staff and such. The chicken is chewy, rice is under cooked, and very little entertainment by the cook. The soup and salad is served together. The service was okay, but as soon as the grill was shut off to go boxes and checks were handed out. I will not eat at any Wasabi location again. Servers were sitting in the bar area on their phones. The bathroom was nasty. Don't waste your money.
We had heard good things about Wasabi's from friends and we were not disappointed! Mariah was our server and she was the best. I wish I had caught our chef's name. He was very entertaining. There was a couple with a young girl and he made a onion train! The food was fabulous and we will definitely come back for other special occasions!
The vegetables and rib eye steak were good. Rice was undercooked and had way too much soy sauce. The chef did a good job.
On our last two visits the service was not as it used to be. They cook at your table and that is part of the fun of eating there. The effort and attitude of the Chefs is not what it used to be and the prices are a bit high for what you receive.
I think Hibachi table cooking is about to cease in Knoxville! This use to be a good place and although it didn’t taste too bad at first it just kept getting saltier and saltier! The demonstration was not much of a show either. It was so sloppy too! There was food debris from the previous dinners around the grill!! They give you a lot of food and if sodium doesn’t bother you and you have a strong stomach- this is the place for you! Not me.
