Burger was great and waffle fries were good as well! I will definitely be back! We also got a piece of peanut butter pie, it was good, but I consider it to be more like cheesecake than pie. We enjoyed the atmosphere as well because they were at 35 North.
We tried Bangin' Burgers when we found it parked in the parking lot of a local Knoxville brewery that we were visiting. Brilliant, right?! There are few relationships more meant to be than a beer and a tasty burger. We were pleasantly surprised by the menu. There was lots of options to build your own burger with a variety of cheeses and topping, but we decided to order one of their signature offerings. I can't say no to a patty melt and I was intrigued by their twist of sriracha thousand island dressing. The burger was cooked well and placed on top of a texas toast style bread. I missed the traditional rye that comes with patty melt, but only for a second. The flavors were really great, and the onions were cooked perfectly. The slight spice from the sriracha was a brilliant addition! We also ordered a side of seasoned crinkle cut fries. While they are just frozen fries, they are really well seasoned and came with a little cup of ranch dressing. Our entire meal was really tasty, and the third pound burger and fries were perfectly sized for my husband and me to share with our beers. What was even better than the food was the service. They were friendly when I ordered and the owner made it a point to bring our food to our table. Throughout the evening he roamed the tables to make sure their food was great. He clearly cares about the quality of the food he serves and the experience that it offers. I will certainly keep my eyes out for this food truck while out and about!
