Shepherd Flock Pub - Waverley

A very pleasant lunch in the sun; good eating and great service combined to make a first post-lockdown lunch, all we hoped would be. the owner/manager has clearly spent some time making the dinge as good as possible within the currently parameter in which they need to work, but all went very smoothly.

I visited this pub in 2020, just before the curls have happened. I received great service from chloe b. I came twice (both in the evening) this week and can not complain, and will certainly visit again. a good selection of ales and they were very good to make sure that I signed and do not forget to wear my mask! it was good to be back. a good selection of ales on tap and beautiful to shoot a few games of pool with the locals.

I cannot recommend very enough regarding the service. I'm vegan and gluten-free and the chef comes out to talk about what he can smell and it always comes with a smile and delivers after taste. they are constantly looking for possibilities to season the menu, the waiting staff is charming and courteous and the pub itself is cozy, warm and English.

Note that the menu has changed to a limited range of burgers and pizzas during the kovid. if they are looking for the famous shepherds pier, then check it is available before the visit. this was on Wednesday and Sunday when we visited last.

Really great food. Will make it my local. Great for automotive enthusiasts.
