The County Arms - Wandsworth

Me and my friend were served a chicken salad worth £17.50 each and we received few strips of grilled chicken breast with a bit of lettuce and tomatoes with virtually no dressing. Something that my 16 year old son could easily do. When we asked if we could have some dressing and olive oil, the waiter told us that they do not have olive oil for concerns over allergies. Who ever heard of anything like that? It just made me laugh : It also looks like the management is more focused in investing in good looking waiting staff to please the guest’s eyes rather than in good customer service and food to make it an enjoyable experience

We arrived to our Sunday booking. We were informed that they had ran out of roasts. Then we were informed they didn’t have a number of wines. Then we found out they ran out of coke. Then when we wanted to order from their normal menu (we were given these when told roasts are unavailable) we found out most items were not available. If I could give zero stars I would. Just really disappointed.

Lovely evening despite running out of our rose but fortunately offered to give the next one up for the same price. All was availed by the fabulous table staff, the brilliant young lady with a ponytail who was always smiling and conscientious as well as the young lad with dark hair working the garden who was so helpful in finding an alternative wine. They are a credit to you….

Fantastic experience here. Great variety of food with the kitchen and the burger shack giving lots of options. Lite and fresh summer menu with everything we had being delicious. Exceptional range of drinks. All capped off with friendly, engaging and quick service. Really looking forward to returning soon.

5 Wow! I made a booking today as the County Arms is a local, convenient for our plans and we had vouchers, but I had no idea I would have such a wonderful afternoon. The food was incredible, this is definitely not your average pub food. The delightful and helpful Rebecca informed us that they have a new Italian chef. The menu had definite Italian influences but is peppered with multicultural flavours. I had the truffle risotto which blew me away! Followed by Porchetta pork which was fatty but fresh!The balance was perfect. My hubs had tuna ceviche and Asian trout which he described as absolutely delicious. The kids food was also spot on! Very happy chappies. The service was impeccable. I can’t tell you what a surprise and joy it was. Highly recommend
