Cafe Rouge St Katharine Docks

My family and I dined at this restaurant on New Year's Eve 2023 with a dinner package. The atmosphere was pleasant and the staff were friendly. The restaurant is located at St. Catherine Dock. The food was delicious and very tasty.

I used to eat at Cafe Rouge in Hays Gallery when in Central London. Unfortunately, it is no longer open. Fortunately, we discovered Cafe Rouge in St Katharine Docks. My family and I were extremely pleased with our visit for Sunday brunch, despite it being very busy. The setting is beautiful, the food was tasty, and the grande breakfast was delicious with a generous portion size. Our waiter, a tall man with dark hair and a white shirt (named Arsejius on the bill), was very busy but still friendly, efficient, and attentive. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you once again to Cafe Rouge and the staff. We will definitely be back when in the City!

Lale and Marissa were incredibly welcoming and assisted us with choosing dishes during our first visit to Cafe Rouge. The calamari, French onion soup, garlic mushrooms, and sirloin were all delicious. The cream brulé, sticky toffee pudding, and passionfruit martinis were also excellent. We will definitely be returning. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Ok so I didn 't get dumped, and it 's been a while since I 've been to a Café Rouge but I thought it was a solid brand? The staff were sweet if demoralised, somewhat dishevelled, there was no leadership. Tables were basic in a way that was less rustic and more school dinner . My bread was literally a chopped supermarket baguette (Tesco around the corner... I 'm a level 0 cook but I do a better camembert. Luckily my wife said her food was good, before later gracefully admitting it was a bit shugar . We gave up waiting to be served desert and got the bill, in a restaurant less than half full on Valentine 's. The location is amazing and the decor still good. I can 't really fathom how 's it 's come to such a sorry state.

Very poor food, very basic service, and prices only justified by the café’s wonderful location on the docks. Photo of my food that was barely warm and the avocado tasted exactly as it looks: like plastic. Plenty of places in the area that look much better and can only taste better!
