Brothers Fish - Waltham Forest

I'd passed this place on numerous occasions, as it's not that far from where I live and I sometimes have reason to visit Wood Street, so I thought I'd give it a try one time when I fancied a bag of chips. Let's just say that the chips were of fairly average quality, and the portion was pretty stingy for the price! I had a quick look at the pre-cooked fish, and they also looked to be on the small side. I knew there was a good reason that we get our fish and chips delivered from Highland Fish Bar instead...

Nice hot food for a good price and always so fresh and tasty! My fave chippy in Walthamstow it is unbeatable

If however you like the expected and are on a diet then go ahead and order you are guaranteed to have items missing. Out of the past 5 orders they’ve f@&ked up 4 of them. Best chippie in Walthamstow! Chips are nice and crispy and curry sauce is always so tasty. Well worth the money

GREAT fish chips is a dying art and this place does it to perfection. Crisp, fresh batter and chips (CHIPS not rehashed french fries because it 's important!! , with delicious tender cuts of fish. Even the OIL they use is clearly quality and not reused to death. Great service, great food, but be warned there is (understandably a queue at peak times and the delivery bikes line up outside this place! Always a good sign!
