At The Scoop Ice Cream Shop

The website listed it as open. It's closed. Apparently, only locals know this, and I ended up with 3 upset kids thinking they were getting ice cream when it closed. If the owner cared, they would use their website to let everyone know they are closed. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Cute lil shop near home that me and my children like to go to, and sit outside and just njoy the moment.

Little disappointed to go back and now it's nothing but Hershey ice cream being sold. This place was a standout because it was all homemade. While the ice cream was good and the service was good, I don't plan to come back as I can get Hershey ice cream a lot closer to home. Uodate: owner responded. Based on this, I would suggest patience (me included). They are searching for a new producer as old ice cream producer went out of business. They've earned my trust over the years.

Love the Scoop! Great shakes and ice cream. Good service and a cute dining room. I recommend the Georgia Pothole shake.
