Bidrage med feedbackOn the beachside of juan les pins just beside the street, when you look at it from the outside it seems to be nothing special, but once you enter and you meet the incredible friendly team you feel comfortable. The Somelier is adorable and very cometent, so was the friendly Lady serving us. If the weather is good the whole front is open to the sea. If it is raining get concentrated on the delicious fish and most of all the Bouillabaisse. We spent a great evening and they where adorable with our kids. Thank You
Chez nounou is an institution. A place where french people go to have the famous seafood french soup, bouillabaise. It's between Cannes and Nice on the coast. Nice atmosphere, wonderful bouillabaise.
This was our first dinner at Nounou and we liked it! We went there through a promotion online and for the price we paid it was perfect. Kind valet that takes care of your car: first good point. We got a second row table but this was fine as ou course people that pay the full price deserve the best spots. The menu included the fish soup (excellent), a portion of sea bream (again, excellent) and, finally, a tarte tatin, very good. I do not give them a 5 for a few details: the staff seemed a bit disorganised and we could hear the waiters arguing between them; the wines are very expensive; there was some dust here and there. Overall, despite being september, it was incredibly hot. We like vintage and the place, despite its 80s atmosphere, is definitely nice. With a little be more of attention to details it could be perfect. Anyway, an enjoyable evening that we would repeat with pleasure.
Oh, the quality of the food here is "divine". If you love fish you will adore this restaurant. The family have owned & operated this eccentric beach side restaurant for four decades and the guiding principle to success is "classical dishes, fresh fish, traditional sauces, simple presentation". They also create a great Bouillabaisse at a acceptable price and fresh Lobster to "die for"! Service is not rushed its genteel, tables are double covered in white linen, glass & cutlery are classic quality, and yes you have "valet parking". The British Chef, Gordon Ramsey, when asked where he would take his wife for dinner replied "Nou Nou in France". Located directly overlooking the beach with views of the Mediterranean Sea you may be surprised who you are dining with, celebrities visit regularly. This is not "fast food" this is "slow food", a time to relax and enjoy, Nou Nou is a special place, every thing is quality and the price matches however represents good value, try, you will not be disappointed.
This was heaven, exactly what a smart beach restaurant should be like, right on the sand enjoying a wonderful view of the bay tasteful décor, professional service, delicious food, incredible value, in my opinion one of the best restaurants of the cote d'azur strongly recommend
