Bidrage med feedbackI traveled from the Boland to visit this restaurant, and I must say that in terms of quality, the food, wine selection, and service are on par with some of the best restaurants in the Cape Winelands. I highly recommend the filet with mushroom sauce and the beer-battered hake goujons. Unfortunately, we were pressed for time and had to skip dessert, but next time we visit, we will definitely try the brownies. I've heard they are exceptional. Thank you for a wonderful experience; I will definitely be returning!
It was a bit tricky to find, but once we arrived, what a delightful spot! We were warmly welcomed by the chef and owner, and our server Freddie provided excellent service along with fantastic wine recommendations. I ordered the lamb shank with lamb jus and potato mash, while my wife had the suggested gnocchi with truffle oil. Our friends enjoyed the chicken quesadillas and finished off with the crème brûlée for dessert. We stayed until 11 o'clock and will definitely return on our next trip to the Northern Cape.
Fantastic restaurant! The food is amazing, and they’ve introduced a new winter menu. I absolutely loved the mussel pot, especially when paired with the finest Shiraz from Zandvliet. The crème brûlée was the biggest and best portion I’ve ever had. You should definitely give it a try!
I had the beer and cheese-seedburger. it was really delicious. great service and good wine list.
Cold lamb, salty salad and shredded filet. Service was nice though.
