Dros Upington

Parking well located right next to the restaurant. Inside and outside seating. Not much of a view but the inside atmosphere is enjoyable with its cellar-like design. They got a food order wrong and there's nothing too special about the food although it is good. Pricing is better than you'd think and we were pleasantly surprised with the cost at the end.

I sat outside and had a cola tonic with lemonade. The service was great. It was very relaxing, just soaking in the friendly and relaxing atmosphere. The foodstuff were somewhat expensive in my opinion.

The last we went there, the chips weren't cooked properly, my husband's steak wasn't even nicely done. The chef didn't cook our food nicely. There weren't even a proper basket with all the sauces in it like the other tables had. My husband asked for vinegar, it wasn't in a proper vingegar bottle, it was poured in a small stainless steel jar. He asked for peri peri sauce, they put in a little white thingie. We expected better than that. I rated the food and service 3 stars as we were unhappy. The previous service and food were very nice, but unfortunetly not this time. Please train your chef properly how to cook chips properly, as we asked for crispy chips, not undone cooked, as it was still raw inside and the steak and ribs we ordered weren't cooked properly. My husband was very upset with everything, he didn't give the waitress a tip. Each and every table must have a basket with all the correct sauces in it, not just here and there. I myself were very upset with the service. My husband wanted to see the manager, but decided that we must leave. He paid for our food, but I don't think we might dine in there next time.

This place is beautiful. The vibe is excellent. The staff fall over their feet to assist and our waiter was well trained and rendered a very good service. We watched the Bulls and Sharks game and we felt at home.
