Jack In The Box - Tyler

The food was excellent and served hot. I went there on a Saturday after attending a funeral. A young Black woman took our order, and she mentioned that she was short-staffed and couldn't take all three of our orders at once. Despite that, when we reached the window, she had all our food ready in a bag. She worked really efficiently and handled everything well. Great job!

We ordered 6 tacos, and my husband, a second (by asking me what I wanted to drink), said the voice, If you are not willing to order, and there is no car behind you, please back to order ready. She spoke so fast, we thought we had misunderstood and said, say that again. She repeated: If you are not ready to order, and there is no car behind you, please return until ready to order. We ordered our tacos and was greeted by a young lady who was very nice at the window sweet. Should have gone, but had been looking forward to your tacos.

It's 7:30pm and drive thru only! Who wants to eat in their car after a Thursday evening football game when you live hours away. The lady was literally sitting at the door telling everyone no dine in.

. I checked the front door and it had been locked after the manager let her friends in. I went through the drive through 45 minutes before closing only to find out the system was down. I honestly believe this was an excuse because they wanted to hang out with their friends. I wouldn't recommend visiting this specific location. Gilmer TX Jack in the box has never disappointed me.

Employees were making faces behind people's back. Seemed annoyed when we were ordering. Had difficulties actually listening. Refused to let us order certain extras for items we already ordered.
