Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

Excellent service. Didn't have to wait to be seated. The food was very good. The manager went from table to table checking on guest satisfaction. Peach tea was refreshing. My chicken fried chicken was very juicy. My beans and Mac in cheese were delicious. The bacon was crisp. The cornbread and biscuits were delicious. Hashbrowns are amazing. Great brunch.

Server was super friendly and was on top of everything!! We needed for nothing!! The food was okay. I got a chicken breast dish that had sauce and bacon and something else. It was a little dry and over salted. Not much flavor. The ranch tasted like it came out of a CHEAP store bought container. We all know good ranch when we taste it, and theirs is NOT it. Everything seemed pretty clean, and the store was cool, to walk around in after dinner. We may give it another try since everyone says their breakfast is a what they're known for.

Attentive service. Very good lunch turkey and dressing, cranberry sauce, roasted turkey breast, rolls and cornbread. This meal was getting me getting me ready for last Thursday in November. Will stop on the way back to NRH, Tx. and enjoy one of their breakfast meals.

Tried their biscuits and gravy. The biscuits were undercooked and doughy and the gravy was tasteless. This is the South should know how to make biscuits and gravy. My wife had the chicken tenders and they were delicious. The service was greAt.

Food is always good, but my head hurts from how loud the dining area was! Why oh why doesn't Cracker Barrel install sound absorbing material in the ceiling? Hubby checked noise level with a decibel meter, and it was at 99.5 !!!!! That level shouldn't be exposed to for more than 15 minutes or you risk hearing damage!
