East Buffet - Trussville

AVOID!!! This has to be the WORST and unreasonably expensive Chinese buffet I 've ever had. My son literally ate just lo mein, and not even much of it because everything was gross, and he was charged adult price. EVERY item I tried, was either soggy or tough, clearly showing it 's age. When I tried reasoning with the asian gentleman, he declared the price remains, swiped my card and walked away. $32 for me and my son to NOT eat is ridiculous. The atmosphere is dark and dated, and the 3 tables of food look dreary and pale. The fried rice had veggies in it that literally looked dehydrated because it was so old

Great for Sunday lunch but not good in the evenings when there is no crowd and food gets stale. $7 is high for a 3-year old child and there is no signage indicating child meal cost.

Ok it’s a little run down to look at. But sincerely really really good food! Constantly bringing fresh hot food. Excellent soup. I have NO food complaints. The family running the place is SO kind and friendly fly. If you’ve been here before I’d say give it another try! We were very pleasantly surprised

Dude, it's bad. Trust me on this one. My standards are low and even I considered dining and dashing.

This was absolutely my favorite go to place in Trussville but I think they changed cooks and now it’s different… the food tastes nothing like before so I’ll have to find another go to place Update: my son went yesterday and grabbed something and he was missing items when he got home it’s one thing for the food to change and just be basic but when you start cheating customers it’s definitely a wrap for us… NO THANK YOU!!
