Lighthouse Bar and Grill - Townsville

Great place for a relaxing lunch. The restaurant offer special lunch menus combined with a matching beverage for reasonable prices. Only thing what need to improve is the service of staff. The waitress was not trained well and her manner lacked a bit. But overall a place I would visit again.

Had two meals here, both of them very good, delicious. Service was friendly and quick. Nice outlook on the waterfront.

Chose this as it was close to the ferry, menu looked good and love lighthouses. There was only two other tables with people eating. We ordered for 6 people and it took over an hour to arrive. The waitress was extremely apologetic and gave us a round drinks for free. The fries were good and so was the steak sandwich but the veggie salad was slimy. Won't be back!

Very disappointing overall. Some staff knew what they were doing but others didn't. Very disjointed service and a long wait for food which was very home cooked and put together. No presentation at all. We had a prawn cocktail which was very difficult to eat and although the prawns were of excellent quality, they had to be peeled and we had to ask for finger bowls, very little salad and the sauce was jammed underneath. Once again very poorly presented for eating. Sorry but I won't be returning.

Where do I start! Well its 630pm and there's NO beer on tap (apparently ran out), NO pork knuckle (apparently ran out), ran out of certain spirits, poor service, wrong drinks coming out and drinks were mixed with wrong mixers, no tables were cleared and sat dirty all night and the food took forever to come out! I even witnessed a young lady wear a tray of drinks over her dress!!!I don't blame the chef, just the incompetent management and staff. Where is Gordan Ramsey when you need him!!!WE WILL NOT BE GOING BACK!!!!!
