Bidrage med feedbackThis authentic Bangladeshi restaurant offers honest service and caters to a predominantly Asian clientele. The price to performance ratio is outstanding, as I enjoyed a generous portion of Rupchanda Bhuna (pomfret fish curry) for only £7, which could easily be double the price elsewhere. The owner and staff made us feel right at home, treating us like family. The menu stays true to its Bangladeshi roots, avoiding the temptation to offer a variety of pseudo-Indian dishes. While I didn't try the grilled meats this time, I'm already looking forward to returning to sample them. I highly recommend this restaurant.
The food at this restaurant is delicious and well-prepared. I ordered the mixed grill with naan and mango lassi, and they were both excellent. However, I was disappointed by the lack of information provided by the waiter when I asked about the dessert. The overall experience was slightly tainted by the poor behavior of the waiter. It would be beneficial for the staff to receive better training on how to interact with customers, especially those of a higher class.
The food was delicious and prepared well. I ordered the mixed grill with naan and mango lassi, which were both excellent. However, the waiter was not able to provide information about the dessert I ordered. Unfortunately, the experience was dampened by the rude behavior of one waiter. It is important for all staff to be well trained and educated in order to serve customers of all classes effectively.
Authentic, honest Bangladeshi restaurant with a familiar service and a mostly asian clientele. The value for money is outstanding. I got a whole Rupchanda Bhuna (Pomfret fish curry) for that could've cost somewhere else. The owner/metre treated us like if we were at his house and made us feel welcome. Menu is truly Bangladeshi, as they chose to stick to what they know well, rather than serving lots of pseudo-Indian dishes. We didn't try the grilled meats, so a good reason to come back again! VERY recommended.
