Masseria Pisciani - TORCHIAROLO

It was a special occasion and we want to go somewhere that might be that little bit special. The grounds looked beautiful, the setting was impressive and we looked forward to an evening of good food and pampering. Things started well. The starters while slow were good. And thats where everything went down hill. Service simply disappeared. studious avoiding of our eyes and being literally ignored carried on for the best part of an hour. Finally patience lost I demanded to speak to a waitress who apologised and disappeared. More waiting. Eventaully the food came for some of us. altogether a wash out. As we paid (in full) we were asked if everything was ok clearly our dissatisfaction had not been conveyed. We reiterated our dissatisfaction to the manager and owner. The response we got was offhand an offer of a botle of their own wine and oil. We declined and left.
