Bd's Mongolian Grill - Toledo

During my first visit, I had the opportunity to learn how to prepare a Mongolian dinner. It wasn’t a bad experience for my initial outing. There was a wide selection of vegetables, meats, and sauces to choose from, and the service was excellent.

It was my first time visiting this restaurant, and I absolutely loved the food and the overall experience. Next time, I think I'll ask if the heirloom snap peas and sprouts can be grilled last, but other than that, I'm definitely going back. Our server, Riley, was great too—he helped me find a drink I liked and didn’t even bat an eye when I tried to set him up with my daughter. I've been thinking about this place ever since I left!

When we arrived, we were welcomed right away. We mentioned we were there for takeout, and the staff kindly allowed us to sit in the lovely quiet bar area, which was a nice touch. A few minutes later, a friendly employee came over to explain the process. He provided us with bowls and a small slip to indicate our preference for white rice and any allergies. Now for the fun part! We got to choose whatever we wanted from the buffet-style setup. I loved that there were no extra charges for mixing meats, doubling up, or adding more than one egg. After piling everything into our bowls, we noticed an array of seasonings available—Cajun was a definite yes! The cook was very friendly and even offered us extra rice when we asked. This was my partner's first visit, and he was absolutely amazed by the whole experience—from the delicious food to the unique atmosphere. He even insisted that we come back soon!

We had never eaten here before and were not sure if we were to stay when we were sitting when a server came to our table to help us. He didn't put us under pressure to stay, but was great to answer our questions, go over the menu with us, and give us time to decide. He offered us to drink while we decided. We chose his friendly demeanor and we are so glad we did. Norman's service was still top notch throughout our meal, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was comfortable. We had a great night of data. Thank you to Norman for the example of the fabulous service.

Great food. Bar atmosphere relaxing and bartender, Cheyenne, was so friendly, helpful and accomodating.
