The Duck Bean - Tiverton

Really nice, local independent coffee shop and cafe. Always welcoming and friendly, never offhand or uninterested. Inside and outside seating, dog friendly. Great coffee which is much better than the local branch of a national chain, and better priced, too. Haven't tried the food but the cake is very good, on my visits it's been more flapjacks and traybakes than proper slices of cake, but they're very good. Food: 5

We stopped at Tiverton on our way back from a trip south. The welcome we got was lovely, the staff were attentive and the food was first class. Lots of local stuff. A fine choice. Thank you.
