Much more expensive than before, therefore, from the order until I see any reviews justifying the greatly increased prices! £18 for 2 basic curries and a starter seems steep chips/rice no longer included in the price

The fish and chip side of the company is good, but the Chinese side leaves much to be desired, will not have another Chinese

I have noticed that the bad reviews of this Chinese takeaway seem in relation to the English foods they also serve, which seems somewhat unfair. I can only talk about Chinese food, because this is all I ordered from there, but I was... many times and tried various dishes. The quality and authenticity of Chinese meals are excellent; it is always really delicious, freshly cooked, and definitely one of the best in the city for Chinese. I had a lot of a bland watered Chinese from different other catchments, but not Golden Palace. Please remember, this is primarily a Chinese takeaway (managed by Chinese owners), so it is no surprise that their English cuisine cannot be as good as other traditional fish and chip shops in the city. If I want Fish Chips, I always go to a traditional fish and chip shop; but for Chinese, Golden Palace never let us down.

She bought fish and chips from the states and sat on the bank by the river bank. It was just swimming in fat. Just put yourself in the garbage. Child people go their dog suggested chip shop in town as the best and...said golden palace is not typical. Now we know what fish and chips are beautiful.

Should have known better only customers on a Saturday lunchtime. Fish and chips drowning in fat totally inedible even though very hungry binned the lot. Avoid please
